the two-minute midline

The two-minute midline.

Standard over-the-needle insertion with midline performance.

M/29 Bullpup™ is the mini-midline any IV nurse can place: about two minutes at the bedside, up to 29 days of peripheral IV access. For nurses and physicians: fewer re-sites and needle sticks, no guidewire, no specialist team, no waiting list.

The 4-to-29-day gap

Most IV patients stay longer than a cannula lasts, and far shorter than a PICC is meant for

Short cannulas often fail before therapy ends. Guidewire midlines and PICCs need trained teams, equipment and time, so most ward patients never get one. The M/29 Bullpup is built for the patients in between.

M/29 Instructions for Use

“You can’t insert a midline on everyone.”

Francisco Puñal, nursing supervisor, Internal Medicine, Dr. Negrín University Hospital, Gran Canaria

How it works

Midline length. Cannula technique.

  1. 1

    Puncture like a standard IV

Familiar over-the-needle approach. The notched needle shows flashback instantly, and the tip is visible under ultrasound.

  2. 2

    Advance without touching the catheter

The handle advances the 8.5–10 cm polyurethane catheter off the needle, keeping the catheter itself untouched.

  3. 3

Needle locks safely, line stays up to 29 days

The safety guard protects the needle tip on withdrawal. Secure, connect an extension set and use for up to 29 days.

For distributors

Why partners add M/29 to their portfolio

Same customers, new revenue

It sells to the people you already visit: IV therapy, anaesthesia and ICU, and the nurses on internal medicine wards. It sits right next to your cannulas, dressings and connectors.

A category with room to grow

Over-the-needle mini-midlines are still new in most hospitals. M/29 is priced between a cannula and a guidewire midline, so it opens budgets that neither device reaches.

Tender-ready from day one

EU MDR certificate, ISO 13485, declarations of conformity, technical data sheets and multilingual IFU. You get everything needed for local registration and tender files.

A repeat-volume consumable

Every admitted patient on IV therapy for more than a few days is a candidate. Usage spreads ward by ward once nurses see fewer re-sites.

Training in minutes, not weeks

Any trained IV inserter can place it. A short in-service on the ward replaces vascular-access team certification.

A manufacturer behind you

Demo units, clinical decks, an insertion guide, patient follow-up forms and one-on-one online training for your team.

The proven path

How our fastest-growing markets were built

In Central Europe, specialist distributors took M/29 from a few trial wards to hospital tenders, with growth every year. We follow the same four steps with every new partner.

  1. 01

    Pilot

2–3 wards with a clinical champion. We supply demo units and run in-service training with your specialists.

    Months 1–3
  2. 02

    Prove

Track dwell time and complications on a simple follow-up form, then turn the results into a local case.

    Months 3–6
  3. 03

    List

Hospital formulary and tender specifications, built on your reference wards.

    Months 6–12
  4. 04

    Scale

More hospitals, ICU step-down and home IV therapy. Then regional and national tenders.
