The non-ported version is the standard choice: soft wings for secure fixation, designed for use with a needle-free extension set, which we recommend for every line. The ported version adds an injection port for specialised cases. Colours follow ISO 10555.

Insertion
Watch a full insertion
Same preparation, same puncture, same flashback as a standard cannula. The difference is a handle that advances the long catheter without touching it, and a needle that locks away when withdrawn.
- Upper-arm placement recommended for the longest dwell; the tip should not sit across the elbow
- Ultrasound guidance optional, and recommended for deeper veins
- Single needle-free extension line recommended
